Hello!

Is there a way to place a PDF (or eps) as a picture into a PDF made with dynamic PDF?
I usually convert my pictures to png and it works fine. The problem is when I need to print my PDF, I have to make templates with InDesign and make a CMYK PDF from there and then use it with Dynamic PDF Merger and write on the template. It's a lot of templates when it's different paper sizes or placing of the picture....So, is there a way around that, or maybe it works in later versions than 5?

Hello,

You can import the contents from an existing PDF and add it to a new page using DynamicPDF Merger API. You can also scale the contents while importing. You can refer to the documentation on placing imported pages here.

If you have images then you can add them to the PDF which is being created from scratch or existing one. You will need to use the Image page element to add images to the PDF. You can refer to the documentation on Image page element here.

Another way is to dynamically convert the PDF to image using DynamicPDF Rasterizer API and add this image to the PDF using Merger API. You can refer to the documentation on output image format here. Please note that DynamicPDF Merger and DynamicPDF Rasterizer are separate products.

If you would like evaluate the DynamicPDF Rasterizer for .NET API then you can download it from our website here.

Thanks,
