DynamicPDF Generator for .NET (v4) Forum

Hi - I am unable to use a windows TrueType font. My code is almost exactly the same as the help documentation, and the path to the font is correct. Similar to other threads, the Adobe Reader/Acrobat error states:

"Cannot extract the embedded font 'JEWOUV+IDAutomationOCRa'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

This error is accurate, as I only get dots for the requsted text area string.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,

Hi,

I have a PDF file having lots of texts. I use DynamicPDF to print this PDF file (Step1: Create a printjob with the printqueue name and PDF file name, Step 2: Print the printjob created in step1). I see that the output contains beziers only instead of soft font and texts associated. Can you please help me understand what is happening here and why?

Thanks,

Manik

Hello Manik,

Regarding your query about the DynamicPDF output, we would need more information from you so we can better answer your question. Please email the following information to support@cete.com

1. What product are you using to generate the PDF? DynamicPDF Generator?
2. Copy of the PDF document you are printing.
3. Print output file. If you are using our DynamicPDF PrintManager to print the PDF silently, the print output file can be generated by specifying a file path using PrintToFileName property.
4. Version and build numbers of PrintManager dll used.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.
