Hi,
I'm working to migrate an application on Azure WebSites (not Virtual Machine) and I want to know if it is possible use your component without installing it (it's not possible on Azure PaaS), or if you know any way/workaround to make it work on this cloud platform.

Thanks,
Paolo

Hello Paolo,

Generator package does not need to be installed at all. You can just include the Generator dll within the bin folder of your application and deploy it to the Azure website. Here are the deployment instructions.

Thanks,

Hi,
thanks a lot for your quick answer.
I have to correct my first request: my company is using DynamicPDF Core Suite v5.0 for .NET Enterprise Server License.
Really we are using only the Merger component.

I'd like to know if it is possible to change our license to a Developer one (so not linked with the particular server) and if it is possible to use the Developer license for a production application (hosted on Azure WebSites).
In case, how long it will take and how much it will cost?

Thanks,
Paolo

Hello Paolo,

The deployment instruction we posted for Generator are applicable to Core Suite as well.

Yes, you can upgrade to a developer license. The developer license will work on Azure as the developer license key is not tied to a server.

Please email the following information to support@cete.com so we can send you a price quote.

1. Current serial number
2. Number of developers that would need to use Merger.
