DynamicPDF CoreSuite for .NET (v5) Forum

On isolated workstations with Internet Explorer, I am getting an error when the PDF is generated:  "Internet Explorer cannot download ReportViewer.aspx from localhost.   Internet Explorer was not able to open the Internet site.  The site is either unavailable or cannot be found.  Please try again later."

This application currently uses .net framework v1.1

It works fine on 99% of the workstations.  On a few it does not work, and I cannot find any difference in the browser configuration.  I have even tried copying the IE registry entries from one that works to one that doesn't.  No help.

ceTe support has not been able to determine the cause.

Hello,

Can you please let us know the OS installed on the workstations on which the error occurs? Also what version of Adobe Acrobat is installed on workstations having issues?

Are you using SSL for your application?

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team
Windows XP Professional, IIS 5.0, .net framework 1.1, Web Server is 2003,  Adobe 9.0, non SSL page.

Your support incident number opened for this was S10369537.

It never was resolved.

Hello,

Have you done all the IE 6.0 updates on the machine on which you are experiencing this problem? If possible, please try and reinstall IE 6.0 and see if that fixes the behavior. We do not see anything in our API that could be causing this behavior since it works on most work stations. It is likely some configuration setting on the machine that could be causing this.

Thanks,
