DynamicPDF Generator for Java (v3 and older) Forum

Hi!

I'm using DynamicPDF Generator v3.0.3 on USS (zLinux under Mainframe) and it generates PDF files with wrong file identifiers on the end of file but it works fine on Windows and Linux.

USS:

Could you help me with solve this problem?

Hello,

We have never encountered this behavior in the past. Can you please confirm the version of JDK that you have installed in USS(zLinux under Mainframe)?

We will have the developers look into the cause of the behavior and will post a reply as soon as we have further updates.

I have tried to run on the following JREs and got invalid PDF files for all of them:
1)
java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2)
Classic VM (build 1.4.2, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM z/OS Persistent Reusable VM build cm142-20090309 (SR13) (JIT enabled: jitc))

2)
java version "1.5.0"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build pmz31dev-20090707 (SR10 ))
IBM J9 VM (build 2.3, J2RE 1.5.0 IBM J9 2.3 z/OS s390-31 j9vmmz3123-20090707 (JIT enabled)
J9VM - 20090706_38445_bHdSMr
JIT  - 20090623_1334_r8
GC   - 200906_09)
JCL  - 20090705

May be you know how I can go off the write these file identifiers to a PDF file?

Thanks for the information and we will forward this information over to the developers to look into it further. The developers are working on this issue and they may give a new build for testing in the next week.
