DynamicPDF Viewer (v2) Forum

I have somehow lost the DynamicPDF Viewer controls from my Visual Studio toolbox. Is there a way to get them back into the toolbox? I tried to reinstall by running DynamicPDFViewerv200forNETBuild32858x64.exe again, and it only gave me the options to modify or repair. I selected 'Modify' but it didn't bring back the controls, and got the same results with 'Repair'. Would it help if I uninstalled, and then re-install it? Will this break my project where I've already used the control?

I am still in the middle of evaluating the viewer, and thus far, it is exactly what I have been looking for. Your earliest help is appreciated!

Further to the above post, I should also mention I am using Visual Basic from Visual Studio 2013, in Windows 10 environment.

Hello,

Please try the following steps: Inside your VS toolbox, right click and select “Choose Items”. In the “.NET Framework Components” tab filter the list for “DynamicPDF”, you should see the Viewer controls listed, if they are unchecked go ahead and check them and the Viewer controls should appear in the toolbox. If you don’t see the Viewer controls listed, hit browse button and browse to the location where the Viewer dlls are present. Select the appropriate x86 Viewer dll to add them to the tool bar. These steps should work for most of the recent Visual Studio versions.

If the above steps don’t work, you can uninstall and reinstall the product that should not cause any issues. When you uninstall/reinstall make sure to close all instances of Visual Studio.

Thanks,
