Hello,

You are getting error most likely because the DynamicPDF products are not registered in your server. Please login to our CustomerArea: http://www.DynamicPDF.com/CustomerArea/ using your product serial number and download the product MSI and install it on your new server. Restart the IIS and then try running the sample VBScript examples downloaded with the product download to test whether the product is registered in your system or not.

If you continue getting the error even after installing the product using MSI then please send over the below details to our support team at: support@cete.com so that they can look into it further.

1. Exact version and name of the operating system(x86 or x64).
2. Exact version of the IE installed on the server.
3. Version of the IIS on your server.
4. Full error message or screen shot for the same.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.

Hello,

There are two reasons for this error.

1. The installer/MSI for DynamicPDF ReportWriter Classic was not run on the server – even if it is a licensed version or evaluation version it is necessary to run the installer (MSI) on the server to which the classic ASP website is deployed to. Running the installer registers the component on the server which is necessary.

2. The website application pool is set to run in 64-bit mode – this is applicable to 64-bit servers and when the website is hosted in IIS, by default the application pool is set to run under 64-bit mode. The ReportWriter Classic is a 32-bit component and will not work under 64-bit so changing the application pool setting to 32-bit mode will make this component work on a 64-bit machine.

Thanks,
