Is there a way to flip a page horizontally, creating a mirror image?

Hello,

It is not possible to create a mirror image of an existing PDF page using our product. If you want to add new text to a page in right to left format then you can do this by using the RightToLeft property of the Label page element.

You can take an existing PDF page and you can add any new content or you can rotate the page also, but it is not possible to create a mirror image.

Thanks,

I understand that your product cannot currently accomplish mirroring a PDF. Are you planning on implementing this at any point in the future? Also, do you know of any other way to accomplish this (maybe a different product, etc.)?

I am currently using a trial version of Acrobat to convert the PDF to a TIFF image, open the TIFF in CorelDRAW, and applying a mirror. I need to be able to automate the mirroring.

This is an urgent requirement in my project and I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.

Hello Matt,

Currently it is not possible to get a mirror copy of a PDF document using any of our DynamicPDF products. We will add this feature request to our wish list and we may add this feature in a future version of our product but nothing is planned as of now.

We are not aware of any other products which allow you to get the mirror image of a PDF file.

Thanks,

Hello,

Currently it is not possible to flip the PDF to get a mirror image using any of our DynamicPDF products. At this point we don’t have anything planned to implement such a feature.

Although this is a roundabout way of achieving this requirement, but you can try something as follows:

Convert the existing PDF to a Tiff image. This can be done using DynamicPDF Rasterizer for .NET. Create a mirror image TIFF using some other tool that can flip images, then convert that mirror image TIFF to PDF using DynamicPDF Generator for .NET.
