DynamicPDF CoreSuite for .NET (v7) Forum

I am currently working with a legacy application that includes "DynamicPDF for .NET (Framework 4.0)" 7.0.2.40.  The Web.config file lists various license keys with machine names, all starting with "GEN70NE...".

Does this prefix suggest that it is a DynamicPDF Generator 7.0 license?

When we run in our new environment, we receive the following message:  Evaluating unlicensed DynamicPDF feature. Click here for details. [1:0:s21:d1:v7.0].  It is my guess that our licenses are tied to specific machines, which is why it is in an evaluation mode.

When determining which version to buy, is there a way to determine what level the current licenses use (Standard, Professional, Enterprise)?

Also, we are moving the application to AWS, so we will not have a fixed production server name.  Would this require the Developer License of the edition we end up purchasing?

Hello,

Yes, “GEN70NE” represents a DynamicPDF Generator 7.0 license.

In situations where you can’t get a fixed production server names, developer license would be the appropriate license as the developer license key is not tied to the server name.

Please email over all your DynamicPDF license keys to support@dynamicpdf.com so we can verify the license levels and point you in the right direction regarding what to purchase.

Thanks,
