Hello,

It is likely a known issue with Microsoft Updates and the "workaround" to fix this is by giving the IUSR (or whoever your site is running as) Read access to HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones

After applying the workaround, unregister and re-register the DynamicPDF COM component and recycle the IIS app pool.

Thanks,

Having issues with this still; checked the permissions above and still not allowing access to execute dll.

Any other thoughts on what should be given permissions?

Hello,

The error which you are getting is most likely because the DynamicPDF dll and tlb files are not registered in your server. Please make sure that you are registering the version 6 DynamicPDF COM/ActiveX product dll and tlb file using the Install_x64_v2.0.50727.bat file, which is downloaded with the product download. Restart the IIS and then try running the ASP examples. This should work for you.

If you continue getting the error then please send over the below details to our support team at: support@cete.com so that they can look into it further.

1. After registering the dll and tlb using the batch file try running the sample VBScript example downloaded with the product download and let us know if you are able to generate PDF or not.
2. Exact name and version of the operating system(whether it is x64 or x86).
3. Version of IE installed in your system.
4. Version of .NET framework installed in your system.
5. Full error message or screen shot of the error message.

Thanks,
