List of PDF Merge Issues?

I was wondering if there was a list of elements/items in a PDF that would cause a merge to fail.

Examples would be: secure pdf, owner security password, etc...

So far, we've continued to encounter issues with merging documents - and we've had to update our user requirements numerous times (each time we find a new "thing" that prevents merging).

We were hoping there was a master list of some sort that could tell us all the potential items that would cause problems?

Hello,

We do not have any document that lists the possible cause issues encountered when merging the PDF document. The error with merging the PDF document can arise from several different reasons.

As long as the PDF document meets the PDF specifications, it should merge fine using our API.

The PDF Specification can be found on Adobe website. There are different versions of PDF specifiations based on the version of PDF document.
