"The root object is missing or invalid"

Hi there,

we have a pdf report that was created using a third-party html-to-pdf converter. The report is stamped for each user download using DynamicPDF Merger.

As long as we used v4 (for .Net 2.0) of your product things were working fine. Now that we've upgraded to v5.02 the stamped file won't open in Acrobat Reader. We're getting the following error: "The root object is missing or invalid". I tried both .Net 2.0 and 3.5 versions of your v5.02 dll.

I reverted DynamicPDF Merger back to v4 and everything is back to normal - the stamped file opens without a problem.

I'd be happy to provide the original PDF via private email. It contains information we're not willing to publicly share, which means I can't make simply put a link on this forum.

Please send over the origianl PDF document and the code you are using to stamp the PDF to our Support Team so that they can look into it to troubleshoot the issue.
