Is it possible to print to a network (shared) printer

Hi,

I'm trying to print to a network printer but I get the following error

The printer named "ML-L1-P1" could not be found

I've tried using the IP address of the printer too.

Is it possible to print to network printers with this software and if yes, how?

Hello Paul,

It is possible to print to the network printer without any problem. Please make sure that you are using correct printer name. Also please try printing in a different printer and see if it works. Also try using the Default printer by specifying the Printer.Default which gives the default printer.

I hadn't added the printer locally and shared it out. It's now working, thanks

Is the ip address a valid name for the printer?

It is not possible to use the IP address as the name of the printer. You can only use the name of the printer that is installed on the machine that you are printing from.
