Can DynamicPDF Merger make a pdf savedable with data?

The question title says it all. I know this is a feature that was introduced in a later version, but I was just wanting to know if this could be toggle programmatically.

Hello,

Yes, you can fill and read form field values of an already existing PDF document using our DynamicPDF Merger for .NET product. You will need to use the exact from field name dynamically to access the form field and fill it and then you can save to desired location on to disk using file path. Please refer documentation on working with acro forms at: http://www.DynamicPDF.com/Support/NET_Help_Library_11_11/Working%20with%20Acro%20Forms.html.

I think you misunderstood what I was asking, which is understable because I wasn't very specific.

There is an option in Acrobe Pro 9 under Advanced --> Extended Features in Adobe Reader. By selecting this option with an opened pdf, you allow Adobe Reader to save the pdf with data. By default Adobe Reader won't do that.

PDF's that had the data supplied programmatically via DynamicPDF Merger will retain their data when saved from reader, but if I make a pdf through DynamicPDF Merger, change the field values after it was created, and save it, Adobe Reader will save the pdf with the original values and not the changed ones. With "Extended Features" enabled, reader will save the changed field data.

I'm trying to find a way in CeTe DynamicPDF to enable the "Extended Features" of the pdf's I create so they can be saved and changed later. Is this possible?

Hello,

The “Extended Features” is Adobe’s proprietary technology, when the form with Extended Features is merged using our product the “Extended Features” are invalidated so the resulting PDF will not be able to save the form data when Adobe Reader is used.

It is not possible to preserve or add “Extended Features” using our product as Adobe has reserved this technology for their products.
