Hello,

Do you have the MS Office installed in the system where you are trying to convert the word document? You will need the respective software (MS Office to convert office files) installed in the system to convert the files.

Thanks,

I had word installed but still getting the same error while trying to convert?  Do I have to have the whole office suite of programs installed out there. They just installed word out there?
We are running into the same issues, can anyone let us know if we need the Office Suite installed, or is it enough with just word.

Thanks
On a different post someone mentioned an issue with the following two operating systems;
Win 2008
Windows 7

I am using windows 7 and also getting the same error.  Am I correct in assuming this error is to do with NT6.x based systems mentioned above?
We found if we uninstall and reinstall it will begin to work but then for what ever reason it will stop again.  For some reason it is like the service shuts itself off or something.

Hello,

The problem what you are having is not related to the issue with the Windows NT 6.x. The HTML to PDF conversion is alone affected with the NT 6.x issue. MS Word conversion should work fine.

Can you please check the event log for the error information of the service? Also please make sure that you have sufficient permissions to start and run the service.

You can send the error details from the event log to our Support Team.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.
It seems to be working for us now.  I will keep an eye on it.  There was nothing in the event log as far as errors go.
