DynamicPDF CoreSuite for .NET (v10) Forum

 Jul 22 2020 11:20 AM
Hi All,

We have an HTML page (.net Core) that has a Google map on it and it has a function where the user can draw circles/areas on the map themselves. After the user has finished moving the map and adding the circles/areas they want we want to email map area in a PDF attachment. Has anyone done anything like this before, i'm not sure if it would be possible with PDF from HTML as the map isn't actually HTML, or if its possible to screen capture an area on the page and use in Dynamic PDF?

Anyway anyone that has tried something like this I would be really interested to know how it turned out.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

DynamicPDF Core Suite for .NET doesn't support converting a Google map to a PDF.

You can try our DynamicPDF HTML Converter for .NET product to see if it work. It will convert a Google Map, but you'd have to figure out the "adding the circles/areas" logic. You can refer to the documentation on HTML to PDF conversion here.

Feel free to download DynamicPDF HTML Converter from Nuget (product ID: ceTe.DynamicPDF.HtmlConverter.NET).
