DynamicPDF PrintManager for .NET (v1) Forum

Hello,

I'm trying to work with the PrintManager to test out its functionality, however, whenever I add the dll (any of them) to my project and try to run it, I will get this message:

Error 1 Could not load file or assembly 'ceTe.DynamicPDF.Printing.20.x86, Version=1.0.0.13433, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

I have tried reinstall, which still gives me the same error.

I am using Windows XP, Visual Studio 2005.
I tried referencing in vb.net and c# window application program, and c# web forms, neither of them worked.

Please let me know if there are any fixes to get it working,

Thanks,
Alice

Hello Alice,

The likely reason you are getting this error is becasue you do not have a redistributable installed on the machine that is required to run PrintManager for .NET. We will modify the installer to have this installed automatically. For the time being, can you please download and run the executable and that should likely solve the problem for you.

Please post a message if this did resolve the problem.

Thanks,

I also trying to evaluate the product and am experiencing the same issue. Getting the "Could not load file or assembly 'ceTe.DynamicPDF.Printing.35.x86, Version=1.0.0.13433, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format." message.

I installed the redistributable as mentioned in the last post, but it did not help.

This happens in the sample project as well.

Using VS2008 on Windows Server 2008.

Thanks,
Jennifer

I'm getting the same problem on MS Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition. I've tried with both the 32bit and the 64bit versions and I've installed the relative runtime libraries as per the previous post.

GPC
