DynamicPDF PrintManager for .NET (v4) Forum

Testing with DynamicPDF PrintManager v4.08 for .NET.

I've test the library in a sample C# Console Application, sending 100 jobs without any problem with excellent performance.

When I move the code to a Wcf service, host in IIS, only the first job succeed. The remaining job struck at PrintJob.Print().

For all above cases I tested with the same pdf document and same local print queue, what could possibility be the cause? Thanks!

Hello,

Please send over the following information to support@dynamicpdf.com so we can look into it further.

1.        Sample application which uses static data to recreate the behavior.
2.        Steps need to be followed to recreate the behavior.
3.        Exact version and build number of the DynamicPDF PrintManager DLL file used in the application.
4.        If the issue is specific to printer then printer details: Name, version of the printer driver.
5.        A link to download a specific printer driver which will help us to test with similar printer.
6.        Operating system information where in you are seeing this behavior: Name, x86 or x64.

Please include the forum link in your email.

I am suffering similar problem. I have 2 printers to test, neither works, the print job simply hangs - no error, no timeout, no jobs shown in the printer queue.
       printer 1: Xerox WorkCentre 5855 PCL6
       printer 2: Xerox WorkSentre 5955 V4 PS
Both are installed as local printer with TCP/IP port

My deployment environment - 32 bit Web application,  target .NET framework 4.6.1, Windows Server 2016 Std.

Thanks,

Tony

We have the same issue on a windows service application.
The first thread, no matter how many files are in the queue, print everything without problem.
The second thread, just stops at PrintJob.Print().

We indeed have a similar issue on an older version of this DLL. We bought the new one, expecting it to work as supposed.... but it's not.

What is the estimate time for the fix release?
