How to Add Signature Field to PDF in C#

The following steps and sample code illustrates adding a signature field to PDF document using DynamicPDF Core Suite.

Steps for Adding Signature Field to a PDF Document

1. Create a Document object.
2. Create a Page object and set the PageSize to Letter in the constructor.
3. Create a Signature object and set the properties.
4. Add the Signature instance to the Page instance.
5. Add the Page instance to the Document instance.
6. Save the PDF document.

Sample Code - C#

Document document = new Document();
Page page = new Page(PageSize.Letter);
            
Signature signature = new Signature("MySigField", 10, 10, 300, 100);
OpenTypeFont font  = new OpenTypeFont("fontname");
signature.Font = font;
signature.FullPanel.SetImage(@"MyImage.gif");
signature.LeftPanel.TextColor = RgbColor.Red;  
            
page.Elements.Add(signature);
            
document.Draw(@"Output.pdf");
